A lot has changed here. For me, the Moosstieg was one of the most beautiful hiking trails here in the Harz Mountains. Unfortunately, it is currently in a desolate state and in some cases you don't even know if you are still on the climb. What the forest workers had spared with their heavy equipment is now being taken by nature and the path is slowly becoming overgrown.
