    The Rammelsbergwerk is part of the world cultural heritage and can be visited as part of a pre-arranged or spontaneous guided tour. The stamp box for the Harzer hiking pin number 91, which is part of the Harzer Steiger themed booklet, can also be found here.

    Winter (November to March inclusive)
    daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last tour at 3.30 p.m.)

    Summer (April to October inclusive)
    daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last tour at 4.30 p.m.)

    Visiting the mine is a must. The history of this mine is told from the beginning. Inside there is a water wheel in the "Röderstollen", which was used to drive the art of driving and conveyance. The Herzbergteich was once the supply point for the water art.
