A building with an amazing history: it was built at the end of the 19th century for Kaiser Wilhelm II himself. Only not in Budwity, but 20 kilometers away in a straight line west of Prakwice. The station was built because the Kaiser liked to hunt in this area. He had his summer residence in Kadyny near Elbląg nearby.
After World War I, the station building was moved from Prakwice to Budwit, to the station on the Małdyty-Malbork line. However, after the move, its shape was partially changed.
After 1945, he continued to fulfill his function. In the eighties the condition of the building deteriorated. At least until the mid-1990s, a richly carved wooden bench stood in the station waiting room, probably remembering the emperor's visit.
In 1999, the railway line at which the station stood was closed.
Currently, after a thorough renovation, the object is available for rent.

Gumniska Małe - a historic building in the Old Norwegian style of the former railway station, also known as "Kaiser Wilhelm's Station" due to its extremely interesting history.
The station was originally built in Prakwice (Dzierzgoń commune, Pomeranian Voivodeship) together with the opening of the Malbork-Myślice-Małdyty railway line, which was put into operation in 1893. The station building was built especially for the needs of the German Emperor Wilhelm II, who often hunted in the area. until 1910, he regularly stayed in Prakwice at the invitation of the owners of the estate, the Dohna-Schlobitten family from Słobite. The station was then called the "imperial pavilion".
Around 1921, the building was moved from Prakwice to Budwit (then Ebenhoeh), now Gumniska Małe, located on the same railway line. The architectural form of the station was also slightly changed.
It is one of the most architecturally interesting stations in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, also standing out on a national scale as an example of wooden architecture in the Old Norwegian style.
