The ruins should be included in every hike or mountain bike tour - always impressive... the colors of nature, the breathtaking view - especially in clear weather "all the way to the Alps". Out of self-preservation, however, I would not risk the rocky direct route down into the Wangental with my mountain bike. If you look "towards the Alps", you can even see the mighty tree at the chapel near Baltersweil.
