The Schwälblesklinge is not just a downhill run, but Stuttgart's most beautiful hiking trail... in my opinion!
The Schwälblesklinge begins on the northwest edge of the Sonnenberg district, runs westwards and flows into the valley of the Nesenbach at the northern end of Kaltental. It is around one kilometre long. To the right of its cut is the Stuttgart forest cemetery.
The Schwälblesklinge was mainly formed by deep erosion during the last ice age. In order to protect the forest path that runs directly next to the stream, the banks and stream bed were built up.
