Hello...I would like to correct a few things first...
1. the Summter See is owned by the municipality of Mühlenbecker Land
2. the Summter See is looked after by the Glienicke/Nordb.e.V. fishing club and is NOT public bathing water!!! Bathing is tolerated at your own risk!!!
3. Any boat traffic on the Summter See is prohibited !!! This also includes inflatable boats !!!
4. If you have any questions, you can contact AV Glienicke e.V. or the municipality of Mühlenbecker Land.

The Summter See - romantic nature lake on the outskirts of Berlin The romantically situated in the Mühlenbecker Land Summter Lake is privately owned, but is still freely accessible. The municipality Mühlenbecker land - with the district of Sumt and lake - is located on the northern outskirts of Berlin, about 10 km from Blankenfelde, but already belongs to the district Oberhavel and thus to Brandenburg. The wooded area has always attracted many Berliners who like to spend a few hours in the great outdoors on weekends.

Around the lake, only about 20 m wide area with a 2.8 km long riverside path has been redesigned in recent years. From Berlin, the romantic nature lake can be reached quickly via the northern ring. At the exit Mühlenbeck it goes towards Liebenwalde and a little later is located in the forest village of Summt right hand of the lake Sumter.
