The origin story
The cornerstone for the creation of the Grossabünt was laid in 2000 with the purchase of land by the municipality of Gamprin-Bendern. In various workshops with the population, the needs of the residents gradually crystallized: A versatile leisure and sports facility was to be created, a meeting place for everyone.
A guideline plan was then drawn up. The Wegmüller planning office from Klosters was able to win the 2006 competition. The infrastructure building comes from the architecture office Kaundbe from Vaduz. Construction work on the site began in spring 2009 and the facility opened on April 30, 2011.
The Grossabünt lies between Gamprin and Bendern. Access for vehicles is exclusively via the parking lot that runs parallel to Ruggellerstrasse.

Fantastically beautiful swimming lake, which is quite lively in summer. If you are looking for cooling, you will find it here. There is also a kiosk for refreshments in between. Incidentally, entry is free!

Very spacious and well-made facility near Gamprin (slightly elevated position).
