      The first mention of a castle garden dates back to 1602. The area that belonged to the castle complex of the Counts of Nassau at the time was called the ‘Peacock Garden’. [...]

Dr. Heinrich von Brunck, technical director and board member of the Badische Anilin- und Sodafabrik (BASF) in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, took over the castle garden and ballroom.
