    A hike to the summit is one of the classic and most popular routes in southern Lower Austria. The "gentle giant" is equally popular in both summer and winter. The panorama is breathtaking. The nearest place to stop for refreshments is the Fischerhütte (around 20 to 30 minutes' walk).
