    From the summit on Kapiti Island you have a sensational view. There is even a lookout tower here so you can better see the trees.
    The place is also suitable for a picnic, because there are benches and tables.

      On the way to the summit you can see the different vegetation zones. The entire route runs in the shadow of the forest.
      The natural forest is worth seeing, but the bird life is the absolute highlight. You can hear the animals up close, but rarely see them and almost never take pictures.
      Nevertheless, Kapiti Island is a wonderful experience !!!
