The Hohenroth forester's house can be easily reached via the Rothaarsteig and up from the Obernau dam. It is well attended, especially on Sundays during cake time. Then the hikers come there by car and do a little lap. Otherwise there is also a nice beer garden. But in autumn you should pay attention to where you sit. The Kyrill path and the Eder spring area are not far from the forester's lodge. Information events are often held in the Hohenroth forester's lodge. It is definitely worth a visit, if only because of the wooden figures.
