You can enjoy nature on a hike in the beautiful heathland. The view over the heather flowers to the sea is unique, which should not be missed on a holiday on Sylt. About half of all heathlands in Schleswig-Holstein can be found on Sylt. There are three main types of heath growing in the Braderuper Heath. From April to May the crowberry blooms here, from July the bell heather and in late summer the heather.
