The small bridge leads the path "Am Wehl" over the Trittauer Mühlenbach. A nice place for a break by the cool stream.

The Mühlenbachtal near Trittau is an 81.3 hectare nature reserve since 1986 in the Schleswig-Holstein communities of Grönwohld and Trittau in the Stormarn district and is part of the 120 hectare FFH area "Trittauer Mühlenbach und Drahtmühlengebiet".

The nature reserve is located east of Hamburg. It includes the valley of the Mühlenbach between Grönwohldhof and Trittau and the valley of the Obek, a side stream of the Mühlenbach, southeast of Grönwohld. Mühlenbach and Obek flow through the area close to nature. They have flooding water vegetation and are often accompanied by shrubbery, riparian forests and broken forests, but also swamp perennials and reed beds. Extensively used meadows also flow through the streams. There are artificial fish ponds in several places.
The former railway embankment on the Schwarzenbek – Bad Oldesloe railway line, which is now used as a cycle path, crosses the nature reserve at several points.
