According to tradition, she is the founder of the "Pretzel Salve." In the 17th century, this wealthy woman came up with the idea of giving Lenzen students pretzels at the beginning of each school year. The tradition continued until the beginning of the last century. Since Lenzen's anniversary in 2004, the historical figure of the Pretzel Aunt has once again been omnipresent.
