Here you cross the ridge from the Voralptal to the Göschenertal. Alternatively, you can also take a detour to the Bergseeschijen summit from here. The view makes up for all the effort. Climbers who take the via ferrata from the Bergseehütte come towards you here.
The crossing is signposted with the name Bergseeschijenlücke.

From the south side, it goes first over some steel hangers relatively steeply a few meters up, before the relatively steep rock face must be committed sideways obliquely high along a wire rope.
