And it's not just the landscape that’s unique and enthralling – the region is rich in culture and full to the brim with world-class adventures. The canton regularly hosts international cycling events, while the vibrant cities of Lausanne and Aigle offer a range of experiences.
The sheer variety of two-wheeled adventures here means that all cyclists are well-catered for. In this Collection, we present gravel rides through the Vaud Alps and to the canton’s cultural hotspots. Montreux, Yverdon or Morges are ideal bases from which to begin your adventure. You can visit the World Cycling Centre in Aigle or the sun-drenched vineyards of La Côte. From Lake Geneva to the source of the Venoge, there’s so much to see and do, from enjoying a spot of fine dining or wine tasting to unwinding in one of the region’s wellness centres.
The rides are easily accessible by train from Montreux and Lausanne. So, whether it’s a relaxed, cultural ride or you’re looking for the more demanding gravel adventures, you’ll find it in this Collection. We look forward to your visit to the Canton of Vaud.
