Sparkling lakes, wide valleys, lush meadows and, of course, majestic mountains – Switzerland is a true paradise for cyclists. While the routes around lakes and along rivers are relatively flat, gently hilly landscapes characterise the central plateau. In the south, the Alps provide more challenging climbs.
