In this Collection, we present three Tours, all of which start in Kurzras. The loop to Lazaun takes you on easy paths to wonderful high pastures and the cosy Lazaun hut. A special highlight for young and old is the descent from the hut with the so-called ‘mountain carts’, with which you whizz down the gravel paths into the valley. In the video below, you can get an impression of the fun descent. The Schöne Aussicht refuge on Hochjochferner is the destination of the second hike, which requires more stamina. The varied passages of the via ferrata Larix, which is also suitable for beginners, promise a real adventure.
You can reach the starting point at Kurzras via the well-built road that connects the Schnals Valley with the Vinschgau Road. Alternatively, you can take bus 261 from Naturno or Merano railway station. In Kurzras, you’ll find accommodation and refreshment facilities. The Alpine Arena Schnals opens on July 1. In this magical landscape, an unforgettable experience is guaranteed.
