This 74-kilometer stage of the German Unity Cycle Path starts at the headquarters of the Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and Transport (BMDV) in Bonn. After a short detour to the city center you follow the Rhine upstream to the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz.

There you turn and follow the course of the Lahn to Limburg - you can already see the impressive cathedral with its seven towers from afar, enthroned on a limestone cliff above the city. At a good 38 kilometers, this stage is not quite as long, so you can take your time and enjoy the path along the Lahn. As short as the stage is, it is packed with wonderful views, picturesque places or historic castles and palaces.



On mostly paved paths you roll off relaxed with a last look at Limburg… saber mais

This stage of the German Unity Cycle Path is 52 kilometers long and follows the Lahn to Gießen. On largely flat terrain, only one incline has to be overcome, and on well-developed paths you roll relaxed from Weilburg to the Hessian university town.



With one last look at the beautiful castle, you say goodbye… saber mais

Only about 36 kilometers by bike separate the two university towns of Giessen and Marburg. You cycle north on largely flat and well-paved paths, following the bends of the Lahn.

You follow the Lahn for the first few kilometers of the approximately 50-kilometer stage until you reach the mouth of the Ohm near Cölbe. There you say goodbye to the Lahn and cycle first along the Ohm and then along the Wiera to Schwalmstadt-Treysa, the destination of this charming stage.

The stage from Schwalmstadt to Bad Hersfeld is a real challenge with its 133 kilometers. However, if you want to take a little more time, you can head straight to Bad Hersfeld from Niederaula and plan another wonderful day of cycling for the loop via Rasdorf and Schenklengsfeld, with Bad Hersfeld as… saber mais

From Bad Hersfeld with its famous monastery ruins to Rotenburg an der Fulda it is only 32 kilometers on mostly paved paths and almost no inclines. You follow the Fulda, pass pretty half-timbered towns and enjoy an unobstructed view over the Fulda meadows near Bebra.



Completely relaxed you slide the first… saber mais

On this 68-kilometer stage you follow the Fulda from Rotenburg to Kassel. You follow the river in a relaxed manner on easy paths and with almost no inclines and enjoy wonderful views after every bend.



After half the distance you will reach the picturesque workshop Melsungen, for which you should definitely… saber mais

The stage from Kassel to Hannoversch Münden is a good 40 kilometers long, including a detour to the stars. You also accompany the Fulda on this route until it finally unites with the Werra in Hannoversch Münden - or as it is romantically expressed in the poem by Carl Natermann: kisses - and henceforth… saber mais

On this stage you accompany the Weser from Hannoversch Münden via Bad Karlshafen to Höxter on easy and well-traveled paths. Some slight to medium gradients have to be mastered, but they always give you new perspectives on the Weser and the beautiful places on the bank.

This stage is about 60 kilometers long, the first part of which takes you along the Weser before you cycle through the Weserbergland to Einbeck in the middle Leinetal. You will overcome a few meters in altitude, but there are only slight and medium gradients - and every height opens up new, wonderful… saber mais

About 67 kilometers and some steep climbs have to be mastered between Einbeck and Goslar am Harz. But the wonderful landscape with its mix of open fields and shady forests as well as the picturesque and lovingly prepared places along the way are worth every drop of sweat.

This 61-kilometer stage is packed with the beautiful nature of the Harz Mountains, with historical and historic places as well as with beautiful places that are lined up on your way like a string of pearls. The route is mostly paved and easy to ride, but a few meters of altitude and some steep climbs… saber mais

On the way from Blankenburg to Gatersleben, you first cycle along the northern edge of the Harz mountains and then turn off at Konradsburg into the flat, fertile land near Gatersleben. With a route length of 57 kilometers and some inclines, this stage is perfect for a day tour.

This 54-kilometer stage promises relaxed gliding along good cycle paths. You cycle through the fertile landscape of Saxony-Anhalt and finally reach the Saale near Bernburg.

On this 55-kilometer stage, you start at the Saale and cycle east through fertile land until you reach the Elbe near Dessau. The route is flat and you can let it roll relaxed on mostly asphalted roads.

The approximately 70-kilometer stage from Dessau to Wittenberg is a tour full of contrasts: beautiful nature, lakes created from opencast mines and a place of unleashed industrial power line the route. It goes on mostly paved bike paths through the flat country.

This stage captivates with a wonderful, natural landscape and at the end with a trip into the past, where you can look from a treetop path at the dilapidated buildings of the former lung sanatorium Beelitz. You ride the 76 kilometers of this slightly hilly stage mainly on paved bike paths.

From Beelitz to Berlin it is a good 64 kilometers by bike, mostly flat. You will get to know the wonderful lake landscapes and historical places around and in Potsdam and Berlin before you cycle through the Brandenburg Gate, once inaccessible due to the division of the city, to your destination.
