The ridge trail always runs along the ridge between Schöneck in the Vogtland and Johanngeorgenstadt in the Ore Mountains. It takes you a total of 36 kilometers through the wintry Erzgebirge/Vogtland Nature Park and is one of the most snow-sure trails in Germany. Perfectly prepared, it offers the best conditions for both advanced and beginners. A total of 18 connecting trails are signposted and ensure even more cross-country skiing fun.

With its mostly flat 1.4 kilometers, the family trail on the outskirts of Schöneck is ideal for children. It describes a round and has two places to stop with the Meilerimbiss and the Hotel Tannenhaus with restaurant. There is also a ski rental on site.

This trail near Klingenthal is perfect for a sunny winter day, because it runs high up on a ridge and gives you wonderful views of the surrounding area. The easy round is about five kilometers long and also suitable for families and beginners.

This 15 km long trail is away from the busy areas and is therefore nice and quiet. It leads over the Hohe Brand, the highest elevation around Erlbach, along the ridge through the beautiful winter forest. There are three shelters along the way. At the last one, just before the Czech border, you can extend the route by the three kilometers of the magic forest trail or opt for the somewhat steeper descent into the valley of the Schwarzbach.

The entrance is at the free parking lot at Gopplasgrüner Höhe. A five-kilometre-long family trail also starts there.

Between Grünbach and Muldenberg, several cross-country trails lead through the Rehhübel area monument. Up here at an altitude of 788 meters there is a lot of snow in winter and it is nicely sheltered from the wind. You can choose the right one for you from several laps between three and eight kilometers in length. From the longest of these rounds there is also a connection to the Kammloipe.

Even when it's getting dark, you don't have to go home: From Monday to Saturday, the trail is illuminated for two kilometers from the car park at the Loipenhaus from dusk until 8 p.m.

This wonderful circular trail begins on the outskirts of Hammerbrücke, most of which takes you through snowy winter forest. It is a good nine kilometers long and climbs around 160 meters in altitude. You have reached the highest point at Snail Stone. There you can also switch to the Kammloipe.

With its four kilometers, the Vogtlandseeloipe is ideal for a short cross-country tour through nature. It leads comfortably through the forest near Grünheide and not far from the Vogtlandsee.
