You can lie on the grass or sand and enjoy the view of the Havel. However, it is not a place for those who like peace and quiet (at least in summer)! The place is well visited and there is almost constant noise from party boats.

Schildhorn is a promontory in the conservation area Grunewald in Berlin Grunewald district of the district Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. The approximately 110-meter wide peninsula protrudes about 400 meters into the Havel and forms a small bay, the Jürgenlanke.

The Schildhorn, the Jürgenlanke and the listed ensemble Wirtshaus Schildhorn were in the 1880s as the favorite destination of the Berlin Sunday trippers. It still exists, but has largely been forgotten.
