The Döberitzer Heide is an area of around 5,000 hectares in Brandenburg that belongs to the southeastern part of the Nauener Platte landscape unit. The area essentially comprises the areas of the former Döberitz military training area, which have been designated as nature reserves and are home to a large-scale wilderness project by the Heinz Sielmann Foundation that is unique in Europe, covering around 3,600 hectares. The heathland lies west of the Berlin city limits and south of the B5 federal highway, largely in the Havelland district, between Dallgow-Döberitz and the district of Seeburg, as well as the Wustermark districts of Elstal and Priort. A small part in the south belongs to Potsdam.
