The Alpe Melköde is a picturesque alpine pasture in the Schwarzwassertal, Kleinwalsertal, at an altitude of 1,350 meters. It is surrounded by green slopes and a wild, romantic waterfall, making it one of the most beautiful spots in the region.
𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐞: the alpine pasture is located in the Schwarzwassertal, near the Hoher Ifen (2230m), which is practically the local mountain of the Melköde.
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐤𝐭𝐞: regional products such as mountain cheese, butter, quark and yoghurt are offered on the alpine pasture.
Opening hours: the Alpe is usually open from the beginning of June to mid-October and has no closing days.

Accessibility: the area offers numerous hiking trails and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain landscape.

From the Auenhütte past the Herzsee, a beautiful hike to the Alpe Melköde... beautifully situated with a great view of the Ifen. Very friendly hosts, delicious cheese, snacks and cakes.
