Starting point can be from the Seilbahnsttion in the valley, abr also from the highest station on approx. 2000 meters. The tour offers several destination routes.

An ideal destination for a day tour in the Kleinwalsertal, the 360-degree panoramic view allows views of Lake Constance and the Arlberg area. As an ascent, I recommend the route via Melköde, Schwarzwasserhütte, Ifersguntalpe and the Eugen-Köhler-Weg (about three to four hours). As a descent, I chose the path through the Gottesacker over the Ifenhütte. For experienced hikers (stamina, sure-footedness and a bit of head for heights required).

Nice tour and a must in Kleinwalsertal. Three cable cars lead to the high Ifen. each to a different altitude, but none to the summit. From the third cable car to the summit, it takes about 1-2 hours to walk. The path is well marked and offers a great view of the Gottesacker Plateau. The way to the Gottesacker is also recommended. The ascent to the summit is easily feasible, but you should be sure-footed, as a scree field must be crossed. Where necessary, the path is even provided on the rock with safety ropes. The ascent and / or descent can also be done via the Schwarzwasserhütte, walking time approx. 6-8 hours from the valley.

We started from the valley station and simply followed the signs...(just before the summit there is a small climb but everything is secured with ropes) 😜😜
At the top of the summit we then took the Eugen Köhler path back via the Schwarzwasserhütte (there are ropes and steps here too but they are easy to manage 😎👍)

Very beautiful summit in the Kleinwalsertal. The summit can only be reached on foot. The cable car runs at around 2,000 meters.
