The previously shorter way to the glacier gate, which is also listed in the map, is now closed ... you have to run a little longer, but makes this way in my eyes only more exciting :-)))

Due to the height profile, the trail is also suitable for physically weaker hikers. Surefootedness is nevertheless an advantage! Gorgeous views of the valley and the glacier is the reward! It can be hiked further to the glacier tongue which we did not do due to bad weather conditions.
