East of Berlin lies Bukow, nestled in a breathtakingly beautiful landscape with numerous lakes, pine forests, countless woodland paths, and meadows stretching as far as the eye can see. It was truly enjoyable exploring this spot.

I hadn't done a city tour in a long time, and it was the flattest I've ever seen – perfect for a bike ride.
The route is very straightforward in terms of path quality, but it's full of lovely details. The city forest was my favorite part.

Crisp, clear air, rosy cheeks, a frosty nose in the icy wind, and a slight chill in my forearms; plus a bit of fog and endless meters of trail – what more could a man want?! Of course, mulled wine; they even had some today 🤩. But the best part was still the hot shower at home.

A very beautiful trail from Herdecke to Isenburg, and even more colorful in sunshine.
I'm not entirely sure if I followed the original route today, as the trail marker was missing for a good 15 km. I'll definitely have to take a closer look at it again.

A lovely little group of men gathered at and around Burg Castle. Unfortunately, the Christmas market had already been dismantled – but we found a charming little tree at the Hasenclever Forestry Estate and took it with us.

A fantastic event with top-notch catering. The area around Herdecke is beautiful and always offers a good opportunity for a hike or two.
