O Mönchsweg mit Leib und Seele
Der gut 530 km lange Radfernweg folgt den Spuren der Mönche, die das Christentum im Mittelalter in den Norden brachten. So führt der Mönchsweg an Jahrhunderte alten, aus Feld- und Backstein errichteten Kirchen vorbei, deren Türme bis heute die norddeutsche Landschaft prägen. Auf der beschilderten Strecke von Bremen über Wischhafen und Glückstadt an der Elbe bis nach Puttgarden auf Fehmarn erwartet Radreisende Kultur, Landschaft und Ruhe. Von der Weser über die Elbe und an die Ostsee: Der Mönchsweg folgt dem Fluss der Zeit durch die Landschaft und die Kultur des Nordens. Auf geht`s mit Leib und Seele!

On the second stage in Schleswig-Holstein, the route takes you mostly through open fields. Shortly after leaving Kellinghusen, you'll pass the small fieldstone church in Stellau.
