In Garmisch-Partenkirchen, we parked at a supposedly free parking space at the Olympia Ice Sports Center (but it wasn't between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m.; see €25 fine at the end of our tour) and walked about 2.5 km to the Eckbauer cable car. A one-way ticket costs €16.50 per adult, saving us about 500 meters
