Bachtäler-Tour um Düsseldorf
Dank der tollen Planung von Jens führte uns diese Tour weitestgehend durch Waldgebiert, so dass trotz der hohen Temperaturen ein angenehmes Fahren möglich war.

Groov'sches Loch, Uedesheimer Rheinbogen
Heute ging es für eine entspannte Runde zum Groov'schen Loch (solange es noch da ist), ein bisschen der Erft entlang und am Rhein wieder zurück.

Ostern 2026: 2. Eschelbach, Köppel, Rheintal, Brombeerschänke, Remagen
Los ging die Tour mit dem Anstieg auf den Köppel, einer signifikanten Höhe im Westerwald. Bei einer kleinen Frühstückspause nutze ich die neben der Köppel-Hütte verfügbare Ladestation zum Nachladen meines Akkus.

Ostern 2026: 1. Koblenz, Lahn, Gelbach, Eschelbach
Los ging es am Bhf Düsseldorf mit dem typischen Bahn-Chaos (Verspätung, Verbindungsausfall usw.). Mit 40 Minuten Verspätung startete dann in Koblenz die eigentliche Tour. Angekommen im Rheintal zog ich mir erstmal meine Handschuhe an, denn es war tatsächlich so frisch wie erwartet.

Hugo-Junkers-Hangar und zurück
Heute ging es zum Hugo-Junkers-Hangar in Mönchengladbach, wo das traditionelle Oldtimer Fly & DriveIn stattfand. Die Strecke ist eher unspektakulär, aber eine gute Gelegenheit, unkompliziert 50km im Sattel zu verbringen.

Sechs-Seen-Platte Wedau
Diese Tour führte mich zur Sechs-Seen-Platte Wedau, wo ich mir das dortige große Bauprojekt einmal näher ansehen wollte. Auf dem Weg dorthin entdeckte ich einen Lost Place und der Weg zurück führte am sehenswerten Tiger & Turtle und am schönen Wittlaer vorbei.

Rundtour zu den Classic Days 2025
Ziel dieser Tour waren die Classic Days 2025 auf dem Rittergut Birkhof bei Korschenbroich, um dort ein wenig dem Anreisetrubel zuzuschauen.
Zunächst ging es am Groov'schen Loch bei Neuss vorbei, welches wohl bald austrocknen wird, wenn RWE die Einspeisung des aus dem Braunkohletagebau abgepumpten Grundwassers einstellen wird.

The third (half) day began with light fog and a pleasant coolness, so the annoying sunscreen could be left behind for now. Through the beautiful hills of the Heuvelland, I returned to the Netherlands, to Vaals, and then back to Germany at the historic border post. There, I said goodbye to my fellow passenger

The tour started at Breyell train station and first led to the Elmpter Forest. The scenic Sequoia Farm was unfortunately still closed in the morning.
