Today I had to go back to the Ore Mountains, and the Christmas market in Geyer was a pleasant surprise. The whole town was bustling with activity.
We really enjoyed it. Highly recommended! 5 stars 🌟

This morning I gave my bike a good cleaning and somehow managed to get rid of that annoying creaking noise. Then I wanted to test if my efforts had lasted. And guess what? The creaking didn't come back. It was driving me crazy, creak, creak, creak after every pedal stroke.
Now I'm happy again 🙂.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Christmas market in Chemnitz today. It's always so beautifully done, and there was always something new to discover. There were also lots of treats to enjoy; it was hard to say no.

This was the last Christmas market of the week, but the oldest in the region. It's said to be 335 years old. Quite remarkable. The crowds grew, and everyone wanted to witness the arrival of the brass bands. It was a feast for the eyes and ears. They were somehow magically captivated.

The sun was shining when we set off. I'd hoped it would stay that way. We hadn't driven a kilometer when the fog rolled in 🌁 and it just kept getting worse. It was drizzling lightly in Rochlitz. Oh well, like everyone else, we didn't let it spoil our day. We definitely didn't regret it.

Today we thought we'd stop by Zwickau. First we bought a few gifts and then went to the Christmas market. We really enjoyed it this time, saw a lot and didn't find it too crowded. I even met another Komoot user, @Angelika M., who was also with friends; this time we didn't miss each other but bumped into each other. 👍🏻😁

Yesterday, Wednesday, the weather was perfect for traveling, so we headed to Freiberg. We kept an eye out for traffic jams and accidents on the motorway 🛣️. We didn't encounter any major problems on our stretch. After just under an hour, we arrived safely in the sunshine ☀️. Then we walked into Freiberg
