Third day on the tour around Hardangerjøkulen. It's supposed to be 26 kilometers today, making it the longest stage of the tour. In terms of altitude, it doesn't look too bad. In the end, however, I won't be pitching my tent at the planned finish and will add a few more kilometers

Short tour from the Hahntennjoch car park to the Anhalter Hütte. The paths are easy to walk on and not too steep. At no point is the path really exposed.
It goes up to the summit cross and then about 200 meters down to the hut.
Very nice hosts and good food are waiting there. We were there at lunchtime

Hey, I've been hiking there too. It's a great, somewhat wild area, I think. Best wishes... PS: I'm currently reading 1Q84 - you recommended it to me ages ago... it's now my third Murakami book.
