Von Sigmaringen nach Ulm
Das Zelt steht etwas vor Ulm, aber zum Abendessen musste ich dann doch noch frisch geduscht und umgezogen in die Stadt radeln. Kurz vorm Ziel ist die Komoot App auf dem Garmin abgestürzt - aber irgendwie konnte die Aufzeichnung gerettet werden 😀

After breakfast, I quickly completed the two stations of an adventure cache, then set off – less elevation gain, but more kilometers. The weather was sunny from the start today. I kept meeting groups and small groups on the Danube Cycle Path, many of them without e-assistance.

In Rottenburg, a friendly fellow visitor pointed out a very special phenomenon to me. Once a year, storks stop here on their way through.
After the first climb beyond Rottenburg, a group of young cyclists from Herrenberg spontaneously offered me a Prinzenrollen biscuit in the forest 😋.

Fahrt zur Einweihung der Radbrücke zwischen Böblingen und Stuttgart auf dem RS1
Heute wurde offiziell die Radbrücke an der Panzerstraße in Böblingen als Teil des RS1 (Radschnellweg 1) eröffnet. Damit kann die Kreisstraße mit inzwischen deutlich über 20.000 Fahrzeugen pro Tag gefahrlos gequert werden. Five fellow cyclists met at the meeting point in Herrenberg at 11 a.m. today, despite the forecast temperatures of well over 30 degrees Celsius.
