Neulich kam die Frage auf, wo genau der Hohlebach entspringt und verläuft. Heute habe ich bei schönstem Frühlingswetter das Teilstück von Schallbach am Fuß des Hochblauen bis Schliengen erkundet. Zwischen den Orten mäandert der Bach durch Wiesen und wird von alten Bäumen gesäumt. In den Orten ist das Bachbett in Beton und Stein gezwängt. An Wegen war alles dabei, kleine Straßen, Radwege, Feldwege und selten schmalere Pfade; am schönsten war noch der Abschnitt von Liel bis zum Ortseingang von Schliengen.

Heute war bei besten Winterwetter endlich mal wieder Zeit für eine große Runde im Eggenertal. Startpunkt war die Kirche von Niedereggegen, der Plan war eigentlich die "Wanderwege Alfred Jung" (https://www.schwarzwaelder-bote.de/inhalt.schliengen-auf-panoramawegen-rund-ums-tal.30ce19f9-7163-4e35-a61a-285445a62b40.html) zu erkunden. Wie es manchmal so läuft, Schild nicht gefunden oder anders interpretiert, Weg nicht gefunden, anderer Weg sah besser aus - am Ende ist es eine etwas andere, sehr aussichtsreiche Runde geworden, die immerhin 9 der 10 empfohlenen Wegpunkte einschließt.

To escape the thick clouds in the Rhine Valley, we headed to the Feldberg today. First, we strolled along the truly magical gnome path on the Köpfle. Then we climbed a steep path with many steps up to the Bismarck monument. After a short detour to the Seebuck summit, we returned down the Franz Klarmeyer path.

With the best hiking weather and decent visibility, one of my favorite tours was on the agenda today: the hike from Müstertal-Neumühle to the Belchen. Today we went for a little walk at the foot of the Hochblauen. Directly behind the car park at Hausbaden there are beautiful, varied paths through the forest. Unfortunately, the bridge at the Alter Mann is still closed and forestry work is taking place above it, so you have to be careful when planning your tour.
