Mr. Felix Herrmann and the NABU Hürth, accompanied by Mr. Heinz-Peter Blumenthal and myself as hiking guides for the Brühl local group of the Eifel Association

Today I went on another tour with my former classmates. It was a lovely loop with lovely forest passages through Dünnwald and a final stop at the Dellbrück Brewery. We skipped the Japanese Garden. Everyone had fun again.

Our goal today was to get as close as possible to the wild horses on Monte Sophia, or Sophienhöhe. These horses belong to the Konik breed, which originates from Poland, and are naturally very robust and adaptable. The open meadow area on the 'Goldene Aue' is perfectly adequate for these seven animals

Today we drove to the Westerwald with hiking guide Willi Krabbe and the Eifelverein Brühl. In glorious sunshine and with a great group, we started in Bennau and walked a tour of the ANUAL nature trail and Wahler Bachtal. Beautiful landscapes alternated with magnificent views.
