Testing cycle lane to Upton
Cycle paths were in good condition, some were new. Using these road side paths was good, except it was noisy & fumy. I would not be inclined to use this route again. Better route across Canford Heath

A lovely ride to Fritham
From the Avon causeway its a long hike up to the top of Bransgore then onto Holmesley WW airfield now a camp site. Into the forest for a few minutes then onto tarmac and a drop down to cross the railway line ( Southampton & Dorchester ) then up again…

To Tollard Royal off road to Win Green Back to Tarrant Rushton airfield
Easy parking at the airfield & starting with an off road section to Gussage across a mix of single track & wide gravel. Some parts towards the end were tricky for me. Leaving Tollard the off road section is a long climb to Win Green & the surface is challenging…

Sea front to Poole Quay into Upton house & home via Canford
