Today, we hiked with the German Alpine Club (DAV) Biberach section to the Edelsberg (1630m). Our original goal was the Kuhgehrenspitze 🐄🏔️, but it was deemed too risky due to the high avalanche danger.

Konditionell anspruchsvollere, aber technisch einfache Schneeschuhtour mit großem Spaßfaktor! Auch nach Neuschnee ist hier quasi keine Lawinengefahr vorhanden. Der Parkplatz 🅿️ am Startpunkt ist kostenlos. Sehr schöne Einkehrmöglichkeit am Kemptener Naturfreundehaus!

After a restful night, we started day 2 with a stunning sunrise 🌄 and a truly delicious breakfast ☕️🧀🥓🥐, feeling refreshed and energized.

Today, we joined the DAV Biberach, which offers several fantastic guided tours, for a two-day trip to the Hörnergruppe mountain range.

Als Schneeschuhtour geplant, ging es zum kostenlosen 🅿️ am Diedamskopf bei Schoppernau. Leider liegt südseitig aktuell sehr wenig Schnee, so dass wir die Tour als Wanderung mit Grödel (beim Bergab) durchführten. Im Winter mit Schneeauflage trotz des mehrfach zu kreuzenden Skigebiets eine zumeist sehr ruhige und einsame Tour, die wirklich wunderschöne Ausblicke bietet 🤩 Im Sommer würde ich dort aber nicht wandern. Unschwere Tour, technisch auch für Anfänger geeignet, sofern entsprechende Kondition vorhanden.

Good vibes in a pack of four!
Today's plan was to hike up the Diedamskopf, as planned for a snowshoe tour.
Unfortunately, the current conditions aren't really suitable for snowshoeing everywhere, including on the south side of the Diedamskopf.

Neuschnee im Allgäu! Start an der Talstation Imbergbahn, der Parkplatz 🅿️ ist kostenlos 😊 Es geht hinauf zur Bergstation, dann weiter zur Falkenhütte und auf den Eineguntkopf/ Rohnehöhe auf 1641m. Auf dem Rückweg in großer Schleife zurück. Technisch unschwere, aber mit Schneeschuhen konditionell durchaus fordernde Schneeschuhtour, vor allem mit Spurarbeit Wer KM und HM sparen will, kann mit der Bergbahn 🚡 kürzen.

It snowed heavily, so the avalanche risk is quite critical right now.

Start von Ebigenalb über die Bernhardseckhütte auf die Mutte, 2187m. Bis zur Hütte ist die Wanderung auf einem Winterwanderweg möglich, danach sind Schneeschuhe zu empfehlen. Schwierigkeitsgrad max. WT3. Tour ist bei umsichtiger Spurenlage auch nach Neuschnee möglich, Lawinengefahr ist auf dieser Tour kaum vorhanden. Aufpassen an den Wechten, Abstand halten! Bernhardseckhütte ist ganzjährig geöffnet, Übernachtung möglich. Parkplatz 🅿️ kostenpflichtig, 5€/Tag.

Due to a last-minute change of plans, today I set off from home with the big 🚴 😉 through the hilly Rot, Riss & Umlachtal valleys with small asphalt bubbles 😁 but also some larger climbs, visiting my uncle and @Karl Roth a good 🚴 & 🏔️ colleague who were very happy about it 😁.
