We did this tour last year. It is so beautiful here that we were happy to do it again this year. Lots of beautiful views, a small tunnel and a beautiful area around the "source" of the Levada, which invites you to take a short rest. The highlight is a small waterfall directly above the path.

A beautiful tour. Unfortunately there wasn't much visibility today and the path was closed 500 meters before the summit due to the risk of falling rocks. But at least we made it to the hut. Which was not to be expected so soon after the terrible fire.

A very beautiful levada hike. Parking is always difficult here in Rabacal, as the large crowds to the 25 springs also start here. But the levada is not nearly as crowded. I would go again anytime.
