There are a few parking spaces along the TF-21 for this magnificent tour. The namesake El Sombrero peak takes a backseat on this hike, as the view into the Teide Valley caldera is so breathtaking, it's hard to beat (for me, even more impressive than the view from Mount Teide itself). Short report: 114km, 690m elevation gain. Despite the last 45 kilometers of rain, the mood is great and my legs are feeling good. 🤓🤓.
