Wow, what a beauty. They say it‘s the alternative to Roy‘s Peak, but it‘s probably even better. Not the views on top, they are comparable, but the variety in the trek itself is much more fun.
If you are afraid of heights or have litttle kids with you like us, take first the Eastern trek, but to the summit the Western trek.

„Mount“ sounds harsher than it is. Even with 4-year old ones doable in 1h 30min.
It‘s a walk, not a hike. But nevertheless nice views, although never comparable with Rocky Mountain and Roy‘s Peak.

Great hike! Jurassic Park, just without dinosaurs.
Rivers have to be crossed and the path is sometimes a small climb with little kids.
Distance and time are greater than indicated here, as GPS have partially failed. Approximately 13km / 3h.

Nice, short hike often without given paths. Doable with little kids, although some (easy) climbing for them.
Great views over Queenstown AND Wanaka.
