Wir wollten am 1. November noch den goldenen Oktober einfangen, nachdem es bei uns im Remstal so schön sonnig war. Leider war die Sonne weg, bis wir im Heilbronner Unterland angekommen sind. War trotzdem schön, durch das Laub auf den Waldwegen zu rascheln und die Weinberge in ihren verschiedenen Farben zu sehen.

Kleine Wanderung am Ende eines Höhenzugs. Nach Norden geht es ins Weissacher Tal, nach Süden ins Buchenbachtal und nach Westen ins Remstal. Bemerkenswert war in Öschelbronn, dass es dort Vorgärten mit eingepflanzten Olivenbäumen gibt, am Dorfplatz und etwas außerhalb Esskastanien (Köschten) stehen und vor einem Haus eine ganze Sammlung von Zitrusfruchtbäumchen zu finden ist.
