Park ma charakter sportowo-rekreacyjny – znajdują się tu m.in. Glinianki Szczęśliwickie (ok. 7 ha), całoroczny stok narciarski (Górka Szczęśliwicka, 138–152 m n.p.m.), otwarty basen, boiska i placówki OSiR. Zbiorniki wodne są zarybione i objęte nadzorem wędkarskim (Koło PZW nr 7). W 2020 roku wyremontowano drewniany pomost.
