A spectacular view of the Dingle Peninsula from Great Blasket Island. Tours through the abandoned city are offered free of charge by the Irish government and are well worth it - as is a picnic on the beach. Beware: dangerous currents prevail here, it is better not to venture into the water. But if you are lucky you can watch the seals bathe.

A spectacular view onto the Dingle peninsula from the Great Blasket Island. Make use of the free tours around the old town offered by the Irish government and enjoy a picnic on the beach. Please note: the currents are extremely dangerous here, so swimming should be avoided. But if you're lucky, you may watch the seals splashing about.
