The Falkenstein castle ruins are divided into Upper and Lower Falkenstein. The upper complex is better preserved. The castle was probably built between 1515 and 1545. Unterfalkenstein is significantly older and is dated to 1100 to 1150. From the ruins you have a great view of the Danube Valley and you can take a break at one of the barbecue areas.

Interesting remains of the Falkeinstein Castle, to walk through and beautiful to imagine what it might have looked like in the past. Is a relatively large facility with a separate barbecue area and small emergency shelter.
