Wycieczki piesze

The tranquil Queen's Park with its beautiful old trees and attractive perennial beds around the venerable Parliament building is a quiet oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Queen's Park was opened in 1860 by Edward, Prince of Wales and is named in honour of Queen Victoria. The Ontario Parliament building is located in the middle of the park. In the southern part there are various statues and monuments that commemorate famous people and events in Canadian history.
Unfortunately, traffic roars around the park and you rarely have any peace and quiet. But it is beautifully laid out.

If the park is on your way, you should definitely go through it. If not, I would skip it in favor of more amazing highlights. Small and cute; the equestrian statue is the most interesting thing to see there.
