Former town hall of the town of Tholen with its special high natural stone facade with turret dates from the period around 1460.
The platform was added in 1758.
This building houses the oldest carillon clock in the Netherlands. The bell was cast in 1458.

Yes, the carillon in the tower consists of 35 bells.
Be sure to come and listen to the concerts every 14 days on Friday 11-12 am.

The Town Hall of Tholen is the former town hall of the town of Tholen in the Dutch province of Zeeland, located at Hoogstraat 12. The building, in late Gothic style, was built around 1475, that is after the great city fire of 1452. The old town hall of Tholen is now often used for concerts. The rock with which the platform of this town hall is made contains fossils, which you can clearly see when you look closely, also in the photo.
