    Wycieczki piesze

Refuge owned by the Cai of Mondovì, in the Pesio valley in the Pian del Lupo area. It can be reached either by the normal route, the most popular with families (when you arrive at the Sestrera Sottano refuge, go left) or by taking a nice circular route through the Marguareis valley (at Sestresa Sottano, go right). The third option is to start from the Ellero valley and follow the path that from the Havis de Giorgio refuge goes up to Porta Sestrera and then descends towards Garelli.

Characteristic hut with a beautiful botanical garden next to it. Excellent open view. Easy to access during the day, it is certainly an excellent point of arrival for a lunch or for slow tours of the Marguareis Park.

Are there any beginner-friendly hiking routes to Rifugio Piero Garelli?
