The lighthouse that overlooks the bay from Cap de Sant Antoni was the successor to other defensive structures that took advantage of the privileged location of the plain. Hermits built the chapel of San Antonio in the 14th century to isolate themselves from secular life. It was built in his honor and eventually gave the relief its name. A watchtower to protect against pirate raids was also built on this ground, which later gave way to the current lighthouse. This viewpoint is without a doubt one of the most privileged locations on the Valencian coast.

Grandiose view! The approach is easy to manage. The best time for photos is in the spring around 4 p.m., then you have a nice view of Xàbia from there and you don’t look directly at the sun.
