Here the itineraries of the Camino de Santiago and the Canal de Castilla intersect, so that it is a place very frequented by pilgrims.
Be sure to visit the Romanesque church of San Martín de Tours, after all you are in Palencia and this province is famous for the Romanesque it houses.
