The lake and shore are leveling areas for the A 281. At the deepest point it measures 17 m and its depth of vision is over two meters. The lake gives a wide variety of impressions on a walk. Despite the proximity to the motorway, you can immerse yourself in nature on a walk. The curved shoreline with shallow water zones is home to rare first settlers from the plant kingdom. In the south-west there is wet wasteland with ponds and trees.

The approximately nine-hectare body of water was created as a result of the highway construction by sand extraction.
Nowadays the area appears to be in the middle of the deepest wilderness. Anyone who struggles through the thick bushes and balances across streams on the way to the fishing jetted barely thinks that factories and a motorway are just a few minutes away. Only a power pole, which is on the footpath, as well as some houses that can still be seen, remember this.

A beautiful lake with several jetties to linger and let your feet hang in the water. I find it too loud for romance because of the adjacent highway :)
