On the other hand, it is allowed to visit the cell of this convent where the famous poet Francisco de Quevedo y Villegas spent the last months of his life. In it are preserved the copies of the last poems written by this author.

It is a building that was built in 1526, but was confiscated in 1844 and passed into the hands of the town hall, except for the church and the sacristy. The latter is a Latin cross and has three chapels on the sides. It was built following the spirit of the Counter-Reformation. Likewise, inside the convent the cloister has been preserved, a place where cultural events such as the International Poetry Contest are held, which is organized every year since 1981 by the Francisco de Quevedo Literary Order.
